What is Flashcardsfrench.com? What does it do?
Flashcardsfrench.com is a platform that helps you learn new French words and understand how French verb conjugations work. It is not enough to teach you French on its own; it is designed to support your language-learning journey.
Do I need to sign up?
You currently do not need to create an account or pay to use Flashcardsfrench.com. However, accounts and subscriptions may be introduced in the future to improve the experience and help you track your individual progress.

How many words and verbs can I practise?
There are currently 1,809 words and expressions, including 348 verbs with conjugations to practise. Counts update with published data.

Can I create my own word lists or upload my own words?
These features are not available yet. However, offering a more personalised platform is one of our priorities for the future.

Which languages are available on Flashcardsfrench.com?
Flashcardsfrench.com aims to help you learn new French words, so the learning content is in French. Because Turkish and English meanings are presented together, it may also offer a little help with learning Turkish and English vocabulary. You can set the interface language to Turkish, English or French.
How does the audio (pronunciation) feature work?
The speaker buttons use the French voice available in your device’s browser at a slower speed, making pronunciation easier to listen to and learn. With Auto Audio on, Flashcards, Quiz and Conjugations read the French word on each new card. Write and Verb Practice read the correct answer after you give it.
Flashcardsfrench.com especially recommends listening to the example sentences on the flashcards. This helps you become familiar with the sounds and rhythm of French and supports your learning.
Note: Voice availability and sound can vary between devices.
Google Chrome gave the most consistent results in our tests; we recommend it for the best experience. If you hear no sound or the pronunciation sounds English, choose another French voice in Audio settings and listen to the example. On a Mac using Safari, turning off Lockdown Mode for this website and reloading may help; this reduces protection for that site. Voice availability can vary by device and browser.
Can I use Flashcardsfrench.com offline? What if the data does not load?
An internet connection is needed to access Flashcardsfrench.com and load up-to-date data. If a connection or loading problem occurs, a recent copy of the last successfully loaded data stored in your browser may be used. When this copy is used, its saved date is shown; complete offline use is not guaranteed.
If the data does not load, check your internet connection and use the Retry button shown on screen.
